We run 3 dedicated service technicians and 4 full install crews, keeping all of them moving across the Catawba Valley, Burke County, Alexander County, and Caldwell County every single day. That depth of manpower means faster response times and installs completed on schedule -- not stretched out over days.

Our Story
Starnes Heating & Air is a family owned business founded in 1998 right here in Granite Falls, North Carolina. It was started by a tobacco farmer and his wife who saw an opportunity to bring honest, dependable HVAC service to the foothills. What began as a small, local operation has grown into one of the most trusted names in heating and cooling across the Greater Hickory area -- and every one of the original founders is still involved in the business to this day.
From the beginning, our philosophy has been simple: do quality work at a fair price, treat every customer like a neighbor, and never sell someone something they do not need. That is the same approach we take today, 25+ years later.
